ThinkPad : THINKPAD X100E TO GET WIMAX?

THINKPAD X100E TO GET WIMAX?

The Lenovo ThinkPad X100e is a thin and light notebook aimed at small and medium businesses. It has relatively better specs than a typical netbook. The X100e, for example, has a faster AMD processor, full-sized keyboard and an 11.6 inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels. And if sources are correct, thenotebook is going to get better: it will soon get a 4G WiMAX option.

According to the documents Lenovo filed with FCC, the new model will have an Intel wireless card that supports WiFi, Bluetooth and WiMAX connectivity options. The update may also be applicable to the ThinkPad Mini 10 which recently showed up in Australia. The ThinkPad Mini 10 is essentially the same computer as the ThinkPad X100e, except that it has a 10 inch display with a large bezel. There is also a mention of a relatively larger model called ThinkPad Mini 11.
