ACER LAUNCHES ASPIRE TIMELINE 1825PT CONVERTIBLE TABLET Acer has officially introduced its Aspire Timeline 1825PT convertible tablet PC. The device is powered by a 1.3Ghz Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and integrated Intel GMA 4500 graphics. The Aspire Timeline 1825PT has an 11.6 inch touchscreen display with 1366 x 768 pixels. The display can be folded down over the keyboard for using the device in the tablet mode.
Other specifications include a 250GB / 320GB hard drive, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, HDMI / VGA outputs, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, built-in webcam, Gigabit Ethernet and integrated media card slot.
The Aspire Timeline 1825PT ships with a 6-cell battery which according to Acer will power the laptop for up to 8 hours on a single charge. The notebook runs Windows 7 Home Premium.
Pricing and availability
The Acer Aspire Timeline 1825PT is available in three colors - Diamond Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red. It is now available for purchase in the UK for a starting price of £599.99 ($886).
