Follow these simple steps :
* Create a New Text Document
(Right click in an empty space --> New text document)
* Type the following command without quotes (")
"at hh:mm rasdial connectionname /disconnect"
Example:
at 09:30 rasdial bsnl /disconnect
Example:
at 13:40 rasdial bsnl /disconnect
Save it as "disconnect.bat" and change the save as type to "All Files"
* Create a shortcut of this file (Right click on the file --> create shortcut) and move this shortcut to the following path
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
Thats it. The above steps run the rasdial disconnect command whenver the computer is turned on and hence your connection to internet will be terminated automatically at the specified time.
This is useful in cases where the ISP offers unlimited bandwidth during a part of the day/night, so that you need not wait all the time to disconnect the internet.
