Why AdSense disappoints many people

If your AdSense earnings aren’t making you happy, have you ever tried to figure out the problem points? It is seen mostly among bloggers that they tend to surf the webs of AdSense gurus and concentrate more on the magical formulas specified by them. But still, there’s no improvement. Bloggers keep on searching for more tips and tricks. They dig deeper and deeper into SEO. AdSense earnings fall even more. Lastly, a big percentage of bloggers quit blogging and go back to where they came from. Why does this happen? Or rather, why do bloggers let this happen to themselves?

The worst thing that can ever happen to a blogger is to affect his blogging. Nothing can be worse than that. By hunting AdSense gurus’ websites and digging into SEO consultants’ websites, most of the bloggers actually tend to take themselves further and more further away from their prime focus: blogging. A time comes when a blogger has extremely focused adsense placement, highly analyzed heat map in his mind, a truly enviable on-page SEO as well as off-page SEO. Side by side, this extremely focused blogger forgets his blogging. All that is left in his blog is adsense & search engine optimization.

It is not to be forgotten that when you have a home then only you can do some interior decoration. If you don’t have a home, interior decoration is useless. Similarly, adsense & search engine optimization is effective, when you have a proper blog where you apply it. A proper blog means a web full of useful content. Remember, sending users to your website is Google’s business, so if there’s no useful stuff, Google will hate you more than ever because they’ll never wish to hurt their own business. So, create content. Forget SEO for a while. A talented person never requires any talent hunt competition to come into limelight. Google will find you, it’s their business.

Place some ads carefully and cleverly, don’t clutter your content area. Keep it neat and clean. Have some meta tags. Describe your site. Greet the robots. Doesn’t matter if you include any keywords tag. It has got no value. I can have nice keywords and then blog on something else – so SE robots never look at keywords. Because keywords doesn’t necessarily tell us what your content is about. Focus on writing. Let that be your prime engagement. Keep a watchful eye on comments, answer genuine commentators & filter out the spam.

There is no use of lots of photos and videos on your site. It never helps. Robots cannot read pics and vids, doesn’t matter how much info you pack into them. Include pics/vids only in support of your text content. Let the text be a truly different kind of interpretation of anything which people already know. Yes, that is unique style of writing, the subject isn’t unique unless you’re a scientist who invented something. So keep in mind, you’re not writing anything new for the crowd, you’re just surfacing a different kind of interpretation through which you have to please the minds of your readers.

Never start a blog unless you are sure you can come up with 100 solid articles on that subject. Post 1 article every day. If you’re a full time blogger and write articles one after another, try to post them in gaps of at least an hour or so. Random posting will make the robots think you’re copying and pasting from somewhere else or an automated robot is posting in your blog. Be careful about that. And, do I need to tell you that there shouldn’t be any spelling mistakes? Because no advertiser will ever want to place his ads on a site full of spelling errors. So take care about that.

There can be many blogging ideas and you may read thousands of articles on how to blog, but effective blogging happens when you implement your knowledge carefully and not in a chaotic manner. Happy Blogging!
